Though tie is just a piece of fabric of certain length,

However, care should be exercised when it comes to choosing
one for any formal meetings. Mostly solid color slim ties or those having
subtle patterns can be worn for formal occasion. The thin ties should be
matched properly with the shirt that you are planning to wear. Also it is best worn
with a tailored suit and this would end up giving a graceful profile of oneself
in front of the team members present in the meetings. Also the knot should not
be tied loosely which is in terms with the occasion that is formal.
